Argentine Pass near Georgetown CO at 13,000 ft. Actually just shy, the pass still had over a foot of snow. Stopped to see the old abandoned Santiago Mine. Used Leventhworth Creek Trail on the way down.

Last two pics show a good part of the trail requires driving through the actual creek with fairly rapid snow-melt run-off flow. Zoom in and see the current go by. Pretty awesome, not for your average run of the mill SUV.

Pikes Peak. 14,110 feet.
A little late in reporting , since this happened last summer. I was loaded with myself, Wife and three kids(two are adults).
It was a little scary, for all, because of all the broken down vehicles we had.to pass, on the way up. But the Lil' Red Wrangler was a trooper, and handled it all, without a hiccup.

I had to stop at 4,600 ft a few days ago due to snow accumulation. Hope to be able to hit the summit at 5,000 ft in a couple more weeks when the snow finally clears.

Pikes Peak summit is closed this year, I think. Construction of a new visitor center or something at the top has the parking lot closed, I am told. So, it’s shuttle bus only (i either summit in my Jeep or not at all.... next year?).

Pikes peak: Really? I was aware of Mt. Evans.

thats great news On PP. Their website says that shuttles are “required” starting at two different locations Because there is not parking up top.

have You driven it to the top this year?
