There are quite a few dealers nationwide that are doing 7-8% below invoice.

Shop around and don't be afraid to buy a new one and have it shipped to you. I bought both of our vehicles like that and saved about $5k each over what the local dealers would do. The $7-800 to have it shipped to my house was well worth it.

The OP is looking for a pretty base 2-door Sport. Admittedly, that is going to be a bit difficult to find.

Having said that, this dealer is doing him no favors. For a similar price, the OP should be able to find another 2-door with more options.

On average JL owners pay 10% off MSRP. Inventories are a little tight right now, due to the lockdowns earlier in the year. But FCA has been cranking these things like mad; prices should be stabilizing by now.

I paid a bit less than that for my 20 Sport S auto with the technology package.

A good price is a price that you are willing to pay.

that said, about 10% off MSRP — separate from ANY discussion on financing or leasing or trade-in - has always been a yardstick for a good price to me, provided that the doc fees at the dealer (and any other bullshit fees) are no more than about $250.

therefore, I would argue that the dealer has not given you a good price.

I am in the Atlanta GA area if that matters. Not in a huge hurry.
