how do you check in if you have no phone signal?

n00b question. i actually just did my first BOH trail but didnt even know it was on the list. doh!

either way, i had no signal at the trail since its up in the mountains. dont you have to check in in order to get the badge?

If you check in on the app, but don't have phone signal, it checks you in once the signal is restored.

I checked in on the app without a signal and it did not auto check me in once I had service. I just emailed them and advised of this and they checked me in on the back end. Was pretty easy.

I believe it can be done within 20 miles of the trail.
