The VIN isn't recognised on that site, maybe it's only for US models?

Unless it has the Moab package, then it comes with Mud Terrains :computerrage:
lol, I understand that, but OP's is a French Market Sahara. So now I'm not even sure if my earlier remark is correct after I found out the location.

So you're saying in 4WD if one rear wheel slips it sends power to the other rear wheel?
I believe most traction controls you are talking about work by applying the brakes to the wheel that is spinning but I don't necessarily think the jeeps traction control has that function. If it did why would they even have a limited slip option?

all JLs have BLD.
Some JLs have LSD.
Rubicons have lockers.

Easy way is the tires. The upgraded antispin doff comes with an all terrain tire. Best way to tell off just looking.

Simple test. In a SAFE area, pull off the pavement so one wheel is on pavement, one is in grass and floor it. If you leave a black strip on the pavement, you have anti spin. If not, it's open.

You just have to jack up the back. The front never has limited slip. Your 4 wheel drive helps here. But not to both wheels. 4 wheel drive is really an incorrect term on most vehicles. The limited slip is very important to me. And it is always "on" since it kicks in due to clutches. No button to press. Even if there was a label - I would test it to verify.

This isn't necessary, the thread has good advice... Just to keep it simple. If you have an auto, look and see if you have a "4H auto" option on the smaller shifter right by the drivers knee. This includes the limited slip. It's 4 wheel drive on demand. I suppose it's possible to have limited slip with a manual trans, but it's rare that it rolls off the manufacturing floor with the 8-speed auto with 4H auto without the lsd.
