How are your painted fenders holding up to rock chips?

I have been considering buying some high line painted fenders to put on my sport. The only problem is I see rashes all over the front of my current fenders and would be awfully disappointed if they were painted and all chipped up. I'm sure some side steps would help, but figured I'd ask to see how they are holding up.

Fenders are fine, they have factory protection on them. Door hinges have some rock chips, though. I have a rubicon with the factory bfgs, and they throw rocks pretty good.

Yeah, my fenders are without chips also, because--

I have the clear 3m "BANDAID" on them, I have the shorter 2dr and my off-road (desert) driving iS

below 15 mph-and I don't get small pebbles in my fender "DEEP V"--
