Horrible gas mileage jl

does anyone know about the gas mileage in JL sport, i had really bad gas mileage only 13 miles per gallon no modification all stock rims, bumper. i took dealer service center but they say depend the way i drive, no offroad just city and highway. i took like many time to service center never solve my problem in gas.

ever used it pure highway on a long trip? what was it for that?

I think it may be how you drive. If you ride the pedal a lot you won't get good mileage. Im getting 20+ mpg city on 33 inch tires and a lift with the air dam and bumper inserts removed..which are supposed to help gas mileage. But i let off the gas going down hill and when Im cruising I don't ride the pedal heavy. On highway I easily get above 24mpg....

You're driving with the parking brake on, your foot on the brake, dragging a trailer with two flat tires and you live in NY. There, fixed it.

I get 18-19 mpg driving exclusively around town with no highway driving. I have a stock sport s and to be honest if I did take on the highway I’d be averaging much higher than 19 mpg.
