So, I bought the Jackery 290 lithium battery pack. 292watt hours. 20.3amp hours. Mainly will be used to run an arb 50qt fridge.

Started test with battery at 98%

It ran the fridge set at 31 degrees for 30 hours straight! Ambient temp 75-80. Only 12 beer cans inside. So a full fridge would have lasted longer. Also I turned it off at 1%. So technically would have gone another 30min- 1hr.

I’m impressed.

Matched with a simple 60watt solar panel and you will for sure get 2 full days and nights if not more depending on sun. If you input the full 42watts over a 45min period and only drain 2watts until compressor comes on..then drains 44watts. You’ll still be charging

Considering the power draw of the fridge..

Idle: 1-2watts
Compressor on: 44-47watts
Solar input power: 42watts max (limited to preserve battery longevity..slower charge..the better)

You can power and solar charge simultaneously so no worries there. Weights on 6lbs and is very small. Fit it anywhere. Cool lcd displays battery life/ input watt/ output watt.

I want to get one. I wonder how many cycles they are good for.
