Picked up our new JLUR this afternoon, had first mods made in minutes. Rugged ridge door sill guards and a bonbo rear floor mat.

Really like both. Had to trim the rear mat a bit to fit around sub woofer. Sill guards are soft rubber, not hard plastic.

Tomorrow, front camera install (z automotive).

I disconnected the ESS under the hood before I drove it off the lot.

Only reconnected once for a week to see if it made any difference in mileage.

It does for me. I get about 20 more miles to the tank with it. That essentially an extra gallon burnt up by sitting at stop lights. I don't find the ASS system too intrusive especially with a manual since you can turn it "off" when you want with the clutch pedal.

Yes... mine too is manual...i guess i just have to get use to putting it in neutral at lights and actually letting the ess do it's job. ..

It is really useful on your daily commute when you know how long the stop lights are. It is worth using if you sit for at least 7 seconds (says Engineering Explained). I hit quite a few stoplights on my commute.
