I just had Safelite replace my 18 JLU Rubicon acoustic glass windshield that was completely cracked. It appears he did a decent job, a little sloppy, but no water leakage and no wind noise....BUT
There is now a hissing noise coming through the sound system. Whether the head unit is on or off, it makes a hissing or white noise when the engine is revved. The hissing increases in volume and pitch as the rpms go up. This is regardless of whether I am driving or sitting in park on the driveway, so no way it is wind noise.
It clearly has something to do with the active noise reduction. But I don't know what to do, or who to go to. Safelite might make it worse and god knows the dealership won't want to help (probably non-warranty). Anyone have this issue? Ideas?
