Hi,
I have a 2018 JLU with a 6 speed manual- Sport S. I know it has a Hill Assist feature. All winter long, I've been noticing that after being parked, if I try to drive off, I get this kinda click in the parking brakes, then it goes. A few days ago, I played with the Hill Assist feature on an incline. When it's turned on in the UConnect settings, I put the e-brake on, release the e-brake and the jeep holds steady on the hill without the use of the brake pedal or e-brake. That's the way it's supposed to work. However, if I go back in to the UConnect and disable the Hill Assist feature, then retry the exercise again, it seems to still hold the vehicle on the incline-- though not as strongly-- it eventually starts to roll.
Has anyone else experienced of what seems to be the Hill Assist feature not fully disabling when you turn it off in the UConnect settings?
Thank you!
Julian
