Hiding pinch seam

Besides Ace. Does anyone know of rails/steps that install utilizing the stock sliders? Or ones that hide the pinch seam?

What's your budget? Rockslide Engineering step sliders hide it completely but you have to remover your original ones and pay a pretty penny for them. Worth it for the wife though!

Yeah on second thought the ace ones are what I like I just didn’t want to spend $600. But so far that’s the one I’m leaning towards. There’s a bunch out there I see. Thanks for your help

I kinda like these but would like to see them installed.

Those appear to hang down more than most and I would worry about the clearance you might lose off road. The square edges on the steps are likely to get beat to heck the first time you slide on a rock. If you are not spending much time on the trails they should be fine.

My LOD Destroyers replaced the factory rock rails, so they don't cost any loss of ground clearance, and they block the pinch seam very well.

I have the wide Mopars and use them as a step.

Do these do a decent job keeping mud/snow off the sides of the Jeep. the wifes getting pretty pissed that every time she gets in/out she gets crap all over her! I laugh at her (silently)!!

The Rock Hard 4x4 Patriot series slider covers both the front and rear pinch seam completely. A lot of others don't. They follow the radius of the seams, so they don't reduce tire clearance. They mount to both the body (where the original Rubicon rails mount) and the body mounts.

I think it does an ok job. But I don't have very wide tires. 265/70/17 on stock sport rims.

I'm running 315/70's they don't stick out to much and honestly it's no worse than the stock Rubicon tires. I'm just trying to please the mrs. It was real bad a couple weeks ago, I had mud/ice that froze over my door handles coming back from a trip in the mountains.

I love the MetalCloak flip steps, but they do attach to the body.

Great as a step and if things are going to be close on the trail, the step portion can be removed easily and stored in the back. The slider portion is much stronger than stock.
