Barricade (Extreme Terrain) also allow you to retain your factory rock rails.Besides Ace. Does anyone know of rails/steps that install utilizing the stock sliders? Or ones that hide the pinch welds?
My LOD Destroyers replaced the factory rock rails, so they don't cost any loss of ground clearance, and they block the pinch seam very well.Besides Ace. Does anyone know of rails/steps that install utilizing the stock sliders? Or ones that hide the pinch seam?
Do these do a decent job keeping mud/snow off the sides of the Jeep. the wifes getting pretty pissed that every time she gets in/out she gets crap all over her! I laugh at her (silently)!!I have the wide Mopars and use them as a step.
The Rock Hard 4x4 Patriot series slider covers both the front and rear pinch seam completely. A lot of others don't. They follow the radius of the seams, so they don't reduce tire clearance. They mount to both the body (where the original Rubicon rails mount) and the body mounts.Besides Ace. Does anyone know of rails/steps that install utilizing the stock sliders? Or ones that hide the pinch seam?
I'm running 315/70's they don't stick out to much and honestly it's no worse than the stock Rubicon tires. I'm just trying to please the mrs. It was real bad a couple weeks ago, I had mud/ice that froze over my door handles coming back from a trip in the mountains.I think it does an ok job. But I don't have very wide tires. 265/70/17 on stock sport rims.
I love the MetalCloak flip steps, but they do attach to the body.Donāt like attaching anything to the body
