remove the 3 screws and you're done. They do come with thumb screws unless you ask for the countersink ones. Thumb screws make it even easier as you don't need any tools.
Do you just specify in your order you want countersink screws instead of the thumb screws?

well I didn’t because I prefer the thumb screws myself. But yes, if you want countersink, shoot them an email when you order and ask for countersink screws.

WeatherTech Mudflaps for Rubicon received. Nicely finished, made out of injection-molded polypropylene. A bit stiff as a result. They do stick out a bit on the side, but that is to capture the width of the standard Rubi A/T tire.

Working on taxes, no time to install yet. Instructions indicate no drilling, all hardware included. Only tools really needed are screwdrivers, maybe an open end wrench, and a fastener-removal tool.

I'll send photos of the flaps soon.

Just ordered mine. A bit late since a rock already made a nasty gouge in my rear passenger side door. But excited none the less.

I ordered the Weathertech splash Guard for my 18 JLUR Tuesday and FedEx just dropped them off. Haven't installed yet but here is a picture of the passenger side front. They have an indentation in them to accommodate the rock rail. I held it in place to get an idea of what it will look like installed. They are $80 cheaper than the Rokblokz. $79 versus $159.

I wish that they had a better transition into the existing fender. The squared off top makes it feel incomplete.

I got them installed. Easy install took about 30 minutes total. That is a shadow toward the top of each side view, not a gap as it appears in the pics.

Thanks for the pictures Greg H! If it's not too much trouble could you take a couple of similar pictures, but from further back? Looks pretty good. What do you think?

Greg, I am glad you beat me to installed photos! Forum members shouldn't wait any longer! (I'm working on my taxes with drop dead extension deadline of Tuesday.) 30-minute installation sounds like a winner, and they look really nice. Are they removable for off-roading? No, but people are welcome to spend twice as much for the competition with thumbscrews. (For that many dollars, one could probably find some really fancy thumbscrews at Home Depot...)

I just now put my uninstalled mud flaps on the kitchen floor, illuminated from the side with a Fenix PD-36R flashlight (highly recommended!), and snapped the photos below with my iPhone 8 (yup, if I weren't so cheap I'd have an 11 Pro by now ;)).
  • Front, L&R, back & front
  • Front L back
  • Front R front
  • Rear, L&R, back & front
  • Rear L back
  • Rear R front
Hope these help other forum members consider this new product from WeatherTech.

My install was a little fiddly, definitely somewhat challenging lining up the holes. Probably took me closer to an hour taking my time and also having my 14-y/o son help out. Recommend not worrying about the fastener remover if you don't have one. I used a flathead screwdriver to lift them a little, and then just clipped the head off the plastic clip since you don't need them.

Overall, I really like the fit. They're snug, and the texture/color of the black plastic matches well with the JLUR's factory trim. These should be a factory option, as I have a pretty big gouge in the rear passenger door from a rock.

Next up, Ace rock sliders which should ship in a week or two.
