Hey everyone, I know there is a bunch of threads on this issue but I was wondering if anyone had some insight. I have a 2018 JLU Sahara that’s stock with only 21,000 KM.
my Jeep had no steering issues at all and my dealer performed the V41 steering damper recall and the cruise control/PCM recall update.
as soon as I left the dealer the Jeep steering was terrible, I’m getting shimmy/wobble over most bumps on the highway and I notice the wheel is more to the left to keep it straight as it’s pulling right. I feel every bump on the road and the the steering feels overall unstable and I can’t drive on the highway with the shimmy and wobble which developed.
I checked the damper and it seems installed correctly. The dealer assumes it might just be a bad damper that they installed and ordered a new one. Has anyone had any issues like this after these recalls were done?
tire pressure is also at 32 PSI.
any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
