So I am eyeing on these three wheels, and wonder if anyone run them. My criteria of new wheels are:
  • Hubcentric
  • Retro look (8-whole, steelie, etc) with modern accent
  • Gunmetal grey will be better
  • Non beadlock, especially the fake ones with bolts
  • No crazy offset, moderate to stock offset preferred
  • Can be easily purchased through DT
  • Hopefully not made in China, I say hopefully
Fifteen52 Analog HD
Pros: super light (27 lbs), for its steelie look I would actually go with black rather than grey.
Cons: a bit expensive.

Method 704
Pros: I don't know, pricing sounds right.
Cons: heavy (40 lbs).

Black Rhino Warlord
Pros: I actually prefer the 17x8 version as the offset is about right, 17x9 stick out too much.
Cons: a little bit cheesy look, somewhat heavy (35 lb), made in China

There aren't any alloy wheel foundries left in the US, american eagle was the last one but they shut down their production here a while ago. Only option for US made wheels is stamped steel or forged aluminum.

A pro to the methods that you didn't mention is the bead grip. Not sure how well it works, but it's there.

First one seems ok but it's trying too hard to be retro. And those thin protruding lips tend to catch rocks and crack easier than the flat lips like the other two.

Last one is just ridiculous and I'm surprised it's on your list given your criteria and the other two wheels you like.

I’m set on the Analogs. They’re classic and I do not like the gaudy wheels. Light. Clean. Minimal. Didn’t want black wheels again but these are satin. Will be ordering them soon. I think they’ll look so purposeful on my 2-door.

I'm a fan of the '52 Analog HD as well. And the weight is great too.

All right, analog HD it is. My local Discount tire is willing to price match, which makes it $227 per wheel. Can't be happier than that!

Nice! I’ve been debating for the last couple hours whether to go ahead and order now even though I’m still waiting for delivery.

Nice choice! We want to see pics when you get them on. These are the wheels I will do if I ever do a retro look. Hoping they bring Gobi back to the JL and then I would powdercoat to match. The black will look sweet with Billet.

NVM, the store called me saying there is a 60 day waiting for 52 Analog HD, they recommend Black Rhino Armory instead, SMH.

Dang. I'm not a Black Rhino fan though I know many others are. I personally would wait but I can understand looking around. So many options out there.
