Geez, if it left the fog light from that area on their car, how bad is the Jeep - hopefully not too bad?

Hopefully you can find the jagoff that did the damage.

Looks like a fog light off a 02-04 Acura RSX (google it without the PT).

Good luck!
Look at you being all ā€œCSIā€.
Iā€™m impressed!!!!

Nowhere without a license plate, VIN or a witness who saw the car park at a house. Knowing what kind of car it is makes it easier to spot on a surveilance camera, if available.

Might see someone missing a fog light with a mashed to hell front end driving around, if you get lucky. At least you have some idea of what to look for. Maybe they live nearby.

Proving they did it is a different matter.

In Texas that car would almost certainly have paper plates from some scumbag dealer and no insurance.

They rammed my Jeep all the way up the curb. It makes grinding noice when driving. The axle probably messed up

At least there is no sheet metal damage. You may wind up with a new axle shaft and/or control arm.

Someone hit my mailbox a few years ago and knocked it off the post plus bent the post. I discovered it the next morning when I saw my box laying in the middle of my driveway. The only thing they left behind was a trim piece off the side mirror. It had a part number as well as the color of the car on it.

With the information, the police were able to find what model and year vehicle it came off of and then they did a search for a vehicle that fit that description registered to anyone in my area. They found the owner rather easily, not too far away. I agreed to not pursue any charges in exchange for them paying me for a new mailbox.

Anyway, do you know if the police did something similar with yours?
