How do I remove (factory) residue from lettering without hurting stickers?​

I had some of that too. Although not as bad as yours. Meguiars polish cleaned it right up. Mine wasn’t sticky, but smooth to the touch. Tried goo gone first but it didn’t do a thing.

WD40 will cut the sticky residue and also denatured alcohol.

Thanks I had Meguires cleaner wax and it worked perfectly!
