I've had my Goodyear Boulder MT 37's for over a year now and if I had to buy a new set tomorrow I'd get the same thing. Been very happy with them.

I have run the Cooper ATs, WildPeak MTs, and BB ATs. They have all been great tires. The wildPeaks were quieter than expected for MTs (even at 40k+ miles). They were also incredible in the rain (two hurricanes) and great in the snow. They were able to drag many vehicles up a mile long road one snowy Christmas. I was shocked how well they did. The Coopers were fine, but lacked a little off-road, and seemed tougher to keep balanced. The BB ATs have been great. They were bulletproof in some torrential rains, even driving 70 mph. Not a lot of off-roading yet, but they have been great in the little bit of sand and mud I have had them in. They are a heavy tire.

I ran KO2s on my older Jeeps, and they were ever only ok at best. They really struggled in most snow situations (especially on a short 2 door), and ice was always crazy. Not to mention hydroplaning was also in the mix. I hope the KO3s solve some of the problems.

Good Luck!

Keep Jeep’n

The original rt developed a reputation for being dangerous on wet highways. Toyo had no choice but discontinue it.
That has not been my experience ..i have had two sets both 35x12.5-17 one set on my jeep the other on my power wagon. That said i like my current mickey thompson baja boss mts better. Toyo doesn’t show them discontinued.

Have had 35x11.5 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my JLU for the past 6 years and 45k miles, twice I ran over some large bolt or screw and neither punctured the tire, just yanked em out, hey have been excellent in all weather conditions, still have decent amount of tread left, just starting to get loud now, so time for new tires. Looked around but ultimately decided to stay with the Nitto's except in a 12.5 width, they are going on the Jeep Tuesday.

First off, need to decide what’s most important.as no tire will be the best at everything.

I have a 2021 Rubicon with a 3.5” lift and heavy duty steering on 37” Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. I live in Colorado and do most of my wheeling near Boulder and Allespark and up near Breckridge. It is not my daily driver so most of my miles are to trails and back. My main care-about is traction on trails- loose rock, boulders, and som snow. I don’t typically see deep mud so I’m not looking for a mud tire.

My experience is that the AT3W really struggles on loose rocks, boulders, and snow even when I air down to 13-15 PSI. However, they are pretty decent on the highway.

My buddy has a stock 2024 4xe Rubicon with 35” Nitto Recons (it is his daily driver). He airs down to 20-25 and has never had the issues I have getting up loose rock and snow. There have been multiple times he pulled me up something he made it up with ease or I had to winch and he had no issue. He hasn’t had any issue with the quality of the Nittos at all.

I mentioned this to my local 4x4 shop (John’s 4x4 in Boulder) and he thought the extra weight of the 4xe had a lot to do with it (772lbs more than gas). I’m not completely convinced because I have heavier tires, the heavy duty steering, the lift, and air down more- all of which I would think should neutralize the extra weight of his 4xe (but maybe I’ll get 3 friends to ride with me next time)!

I plan on going with Nitto Recons (or maybe Ridge) for my next set of tires.

They supposedly do pretty damn well all around. The only negative I've seen is their weight.
