Success!! I have never made a YouTube video, but I’m gonna try to make one for this and I’ll post a link when I’m done. All I did was cut the defrost wire about 3 inches from the retainer clip on the window and add the quick disconnect.

That created another problem. Now you will have a wire and your washer line hanging from the back. That was a simple solution. I removed the black plug on the inside that the wires run through before adding the quick disconnect. I ovalized the hole in the plug, making sure it was just bigger than the smaller end of the quick disconnect. After disconnecting the line in the wire, I can pull the black plug down and remove the washer hose first, and then the defrost wire. After that, I can tuck the defrost wire and hose into the hole in the top and put the plug back in.
