Every jl does 0-60 in around 4.7? Lol if by every you mean every 392 then yea maybe if by every you mean all JL models then absolutely wrong.
Re-read…4-7 or 4 to 7 seconds, aka the slowest JL is still quicker than a lot of “sports“ cars of the 80’s through early 2000’s. 6s to 60 was considered quick 20 years ago. Now it’s average.

Oh I apologize lol 😆 that's true also. I had a 1988 5.0 V8 TBI camaro that my wife's 2021 willys 2.0 would smoke lol

For the folks that have the Hellwig swaybar installed, did you use the inner or outer holes on the sway bar? The inner is supposed to make it stiffer.

I did the stiffer setting, and I can bet you that you won't think it's too stiff. if anything, I would prefer even stiffer (would probably need to stiffen the front, but I don't believe that's even possible).

Finally installed this sway bar over the weekend. Holy $hit does it make a difference!!!

Such a good purchase despite the 4 months of wait!

My Rubicon 392 has the extreme recon package which lifts it an additional 1.5" and then I have added weight with some sound dampening so I opted in for the inner hole (stiffer) sway bar set up. It feels great.

Thanks. Not looking for sports car quick but our 4Runner is underpowered IMO and you have to give it more throttle than previous vehicles or it lugs badly and shifts too soon.
I had a ‘22 4Runner for 2 months, just traded it in yesterday for a 392 w/XR. I couldn’t stand the engine or gearing in the 4Runner. Was awful. The gears would shift on the slightest of hills, that engine was anemic at best. Will never purchase another Toyota for so long as I shall live.

My wife has a 2018 4Runner with 83k miles on it and I totally agree with your sentiment, but damn it if that car isn’t the most reliable thing I’ve owned and definitely better on road trips than my 2 door rubicon. For someone who doesn’t notice things like anemic engines and weird transmissions (my wife), it’s perfect.

Anyway sorry for getting off topic, y’all go back to enjoying your 392’s 😉

I have their bars on my RV, it was twice the size of the stock and made the thing drive like a car after that. Solid products.
Did the same on my Class C. Huge improvement.

Just ordered. Can't Wait!

For the 4runner guys that truck needs a Supercharger. I had one on mine and it was great, but it was a 10K mod.

Fellas, I have 4xe rubi. The 4xe has perfect 50/50 weight distribution, it also has very little body roll.

I’ve taken it to it’s handling limits. Several times. Like Full on 4 wheel drifts at 60mph. It still sucks.

If you’re going to put a sway on, you’re obviously all or mostly street. Which is fine by me as that’s exactly what I’d do with a 392. But if thats what you’re going to do, do yourself a huge favor a get yourself some street tires and some lighter wheels. My 33” ko2’s handle like shit.
Lighter wheels/tires with less sidewall = huge gains in acceleration, efficiency, and handling. All you lose is your image of being an off-roader.

This is exactly why I've been looking at getting a set of KMC 235's. They're listed as being just less than 35lbs each. I've owned two Lotus Exige's and it was always about saving weight.

Yeah and it’s especially true with the 392 as stock it has these massively heavy wheel/tire package.

Some guy another forum did this to his 392, and he took off the speed limiter somehow. I forget his exact times, but his 0-60 was in the 3’s, and 1/4 mile was like 11.9@110mph….just from a wheel and tire swap!
