@JeepCares how can i get the bag for the soft top panels? Neither my dealer or I knew this was an option when I ordered the dual tops.

Jasmine and Julie,
I appreciate all you are doing in answering questions and trying to keep us all a little cooler.
I would guess everyone including management at the plant is probably on overload dealing with ramping up the new production lines.
I do sense everybody here and you would benefit from a weekly communication, stating current production delays and planned production rollout dates.
This would need to come from the production side of the table.
In many ways everyone on the forum serves as a part of a mesh of Internet-of-Things data collection points. We pretty effectively share information from FCA in about a 30 minutes of something happening or a published error 24 hours a day.
But, we cannot see behind the curtain of production.
I doubt any other manufacturing company has ever done anything like this before, but I believe we would all benefit from a very detailed and open communication about production delays and timing.
I would prefer to have a go-to meeting with an opening statement and a production manager fielding chat questions.
However, just a simple weekly production update statement would probably be a communication grand slam in itself.
If nothing comes of these suggestions, I sincerely appreciate everything you two are doing to communicate with so many of us die-hard Jeep fans.

I learned years ago you can't believe everything you read. Sure the info in that thread could be spot on and yet again who knows. Personally, I don't think FCA even knows, let alone some rep, how things will pan out over the next few months.
Totally agree. Fingers crossed the guy was just being conservative.

I have an appointment tomorrow at Ferman Jeep so they can look at it. Noise is coming from the top of the windshield. Sounds like the defroster is on high at 45 mph.
Hi Kenc,

Thanks for the update. I've noted this within our system so it is accessible for further review. Be sure to keep us informed on your visit. As you know, we're available via direct message and would be happy to get this over to a Case Specialist if an additional layer of assistance is needed.

QUESTION ABOUT ATLANTA AUTO SHOW

Jeep Cares, Can you find out what color JL Wranglers will be at the show which starts March 21? I really need to see Mojito and Nacho before I order. Appreciate your help.

Jeepcares, Any update on the issues people are having with their springs? I have the mopar 2" and don't have bowing but I am pretty concerned if this is a manufacturing problem that I will have to deal with soon
Hi Mattyp1214,

Have you made your servicing dealership aware of this? We handle concerns on a case by case basis with our dealerships as they are the experts in vehicle information.

@JeepCares There are many of us (myself included) that have the Mopar 2" lift with varying degrees of bowing on the driver side. There is a lot of concern that this could pose a safety issue (liability for FCA). Can you please look into whether this is an acknowledged issue from Jeep, and any mitigation plans to address - if any? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Jeepcares contacted me and asked if I had contacted dealer yet. I haven’t since mine is not bowing. Let me know what you guys hear back

- Jeep Wranglers do not follow the normal release time frame of most other vehicles so it would not be close to the end of the model year for a Wrangler.

- You have the option to cancel your order and go buy one off the car lot that is available now.

Jeepcares is not here to answer these types of questions to be honest. There are too many questions posted to them asking about future release dates. This is not what they came to answer on this forum nor could they even provide you with a definitive date.

- You want to special order your Wrangler as did I. It is going to take as long as it takes and no amount of posting / complaining to FCA is going to change the time you receive your Jeep. You will get it when it is ready.

- This is not so much directed specifically at you but at everyone that is asking these types of questions. Honestly it getting to be too much. If you are that impatient buy one off a lot or go buy something else.

Hello.

Anyway you can elaborate as to why my vehicle has been in KZR status for the past 3 days and I still don't have an ETA.

I am in California. In order for it to be within "a few days of delivery" it has already traveled around 2,000 miles.

According to all tracking sources - they have NO explanation or info.

VIN: 1C4HJXFG9JW134842

I just want to re-post this on this thread

jl-wrangler-timeline-by-jlwranglerforums-small-jpg-jpg.webp

I'm not sure why there are so many people bent out of shape over their 2 door not being produced yet because they ordered several months ago when back in September this timeline was put together showing production wasn't even planned until February. It also shows that the soft top isn't available for the 2 door until March.
Wow! That should clear up 90% of the questions in this thread....way to save the day!
