Here's some pictures I took yesterday. I was bored and pulled into a Jeep dealer in Punta Gorda Florida. I opened up the doors of a brand new 2019 JLUR and look at the seats! I would never take this car unless they replaced them all.

Sorry #1 for not getting back to you sooner. They were unable to find any coolant leaks or any issues with the radiator or any hose. All levels checked out ok as well. I just topped 2000 miles and haven’t had any other occurrences like the one I had in the second day of ownership. Kinda hope it was just a “breaking in” smell.
Best wishes going forward. These machines are fun...if they run like they’re supposed to!!
@Rubijon @#1 for me are you still having coolant leaks? If so IM me. One of the areas that mine was leaking would not register anything off on a pressure test. Only way to find it was know where to look. Once looking it is very easy to spot.

I had 1400 miles on mine, had a bad water pump and a coolant crossover tube. (Hardline into the block) that were both leaking.

yes I am . I'll let it run for a few minutes then shut it off and check those areas hope fully it's just a line . My Jeep only has only 12 miles on it I purchased it in Ohio and trailered it home to Ky this should of been caught at the Dealer in the Delivery inspection . There's no f**ing reason for this .Thank you for the heads up I'll let you know what if I find anything .

Does anyone know what KZT Status is? I'm not sure but I think I remember someone saying KZT stood for 'finished & being shipped' to the dealer if this is correct about how long does it normally take them to get to Florida?
if anyone has any info or knowledge on this thanks.....
KZT means second rail departure. KZ means the vehicle has been invoiced and released to the transporter. There are many KZ subcodes. Based on the date you asked you probably have it by now.

Hey Cypher, I have not had any issues since that first time. I have to take her In for service in the next few weeks and I’ll ask them to look again. Thanks for looking out.

Good idea, a factory communication relationship through this forum. From what can tell, my order has been in inspection status for a month. Anxious. VON #42992538, Ser# 1C4HJXFG8KW5500995.

Not only is there FCA relationship / customer service people on this forum, they are very active. While you may not see it as much in the open threads, they are very helpful in the direct messages. With my case they have been wonderful, and have helped update my main case related to the issues I am having with my 2019 JLUR.

Not often you will hear me praise help desk / customer service as in my experience they are normally less than helpful and just try to rush through to the next person. So far I have not had that experience here, or with FCA in general.

Good luck with your order.

Was something replaced on yours, or did it just stop? Mine is back in the shop and this time we can't find a leak where it is hitting the ground. The coolant level is getting lower, bad coolant smell, and the oil level is rising, but no signs of obvious blown head gasket etc. I did find that the neck from the coolant hose to the lower radiator has a 1/8 gap at the top that was not here before, so looks like it may have gotten hot and deformed, however it does not appear to leak when sitting. (Looks like where plastic radiator meets metal hose neck). I have pictures from the first time I took it in and it was not like this, and now it is. I guess this could be where the smell is coming from.

Just an FYI, my jeep started leaking coolant at about 4500 miles and it was the thermostat housing. The trickle down by the water pump to make the water pump look like that was the problem. Hope you find it.

It is great to know that someone from Jeep is officially monitoring forums. When I called customer service, the lady was not aware that forums are being monitored.

Now, as cars are becoming more complex and are running a lot of software, there should be a channel for users to report software bugs that can be prioritized and addressed by development teams at Jeep. I already encountered a few small bugs in the UConnect system and will be happy to properly document and report them, given the right channel.

@JeepCares - Is there a way to report software and other bugs to Jeep?
