Hello Jeep Cares... My brand-new 2018 Wrangler JLU Rubi has the same problem with the rear door spraying fine dust into the cabin as reported here: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...stip-let-the-dust-in.12608/page-2#post-443218

I, too, need to have my rear door weather seals replaced. And I am certain that my servicing Jeep dealer knows NOTHING about this. Can you help me get my brand-new (yes, I said it again, adding "$50K" to the brand-new part!) Jeep FIXED?

This is a true shame. With the other problems I'm having, I am actually beginning to feel SORRY I BOUGHT A JEEP (my first, and also likely my LAST). ;-(
Your JL problems will seem minor compared to this. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...roke-down-within-1-hour-after-delivery.17826/

There are a few threads now detailing inadequate defroster operation over the front windshield area. Sounds like the system clears the center of the glass fine, but not the driver or passenger portions. For those of us who live in colder climates, or travel to the snow on a frequent basis, this is a huge safety concern.

This issue alone is causing me to rethink my current order.

Care to chime in?

Just like my JK. Just when everyone thought it was all new, the Jeep genes keep coming through!

Danw....I have USAA too and they have a additional glass coverage you can add to your insurance for like $30 for the year. Very well worth it and it has a $0 deductible claim. Iā€™ve used it multiple times for the front window on my old Jk. Anyone who drives should consider adding the glass coverage as itā€™s well worth the piece of mind.
I'm going to check with them. The last time I did, which was a few years ago, it was much more than that. If they offer a deal like that, I'm in!

When will the factory metal half doors be available to order on the JL!? Asking for a friend... :)
I promise it is not me, but my friend is beginning to feel like Jeep doesn't care about his feelings and the JL factory half doors. Any information about the release of the factory half doors would be appreciated.

*Edit* My friend is also willing to test the preproduction JL half doors...

Please enter a value for all required fields.
Failed transmission, failed tow hitch update, failed customer service. I am glad I faxed to "Jeep Customer Cares" my displeasure regarding the transmission back in 2015 explaining why I bought my WRX over the Wrangler. Hopefully this will help me recoup some cost re: FCA Transmission.

Too bad, as I was excited to get a Wrangler Pick-up, but the flash update baloney reminded me just how terrible the quality was for our KL Cherokee during the initial production run.

@JeepCares . Good afternoon. My 2018 JLUR is having steering problems on cold mornings. Even if i let it warm up, it feels like the steering is getting caught up. My drive is about 24 miles, mainly highway. When I get to the same two curves, i have to take them at low speeds because the steering gets hung up. Then with no warning, it lets loose, usually in the second curve. It's usually good for the rest of the day after this. I know when i take it to the dealetship, they will need to keep it overnight to re-duplicate it. Thanks

Hi Jeep Cares,

Last summer, shortly after buying my Sahara, I purchased the Mopar OEM 7" LED Off Road Lights (82215386AB), AND ordered the bumper mount brackets. The lights are and were shown mounted directly to the bumper (or rather, the frame just behind the bumper). At the time I did not realize the brackets were not available - you could order, but they were not available. Various vendors had these as "coming soon" or ETA August, September, October, November.... All of those dates have come and gone. I have $700 LED lights sitting in the box, useless. Sure, I could make my own bracket, or use the other mounting option, but ALL of the literature, ALL of the MOPAR websites, to this day show these lights either mounted on a bar (at additional cost) or directly on the bumper. The instructions for installing the lights actually call out the below part number and show you how to mount using that part number. Many vendor websites have now changed the product listing to "COMING SOON!!! This product is under development and is not currently available to order"

Do you have a realistic time as to when this part - 82215428 - will be available?

As it stands now, the 7" Off Road lights are NOT compatible with any Jeep bumper mounting EXCEPT those equipped with the steel bumper AND winch bar, in which case they truly should be marketed as such.

As these lights are no longer returnable, what are my options?

Thanks.

Hmm. I specifically asked USAA about this and they said they didn't have anything! I may have to call them again. Thanks for the tip.

Yep, they aren't giving me a deal like that, either. Maybe it depends upon the state in which one lives?

I have the same problems I pllug in my iPhone and it keeps saying Iā€™m in RI not CA but if I unplug it shows the right location and my stero will randomly turn off out of no where
I don't know if this got resolved offline, but I did want to thank @JeepCares . Thanks to this post:

Uconnect CarPlay wrong location

I was able to get my UConnect updated today and my CarPlay nav is working for the first time in months. it no longer thinks I am in a different part of the state. I am pretty doubtful my dealer would have fixed it correctly without the TSB number.
