Was wondering how many people would be interested in a hellcat engine for your Jeep. Is it something you would buy?

I don’t need my Jeep to be crazy fast, but @Krondor has it right. There should be a 5.7 Hemi option from the factory. If only the Federal government would mind its own business.......

I would...but only if you upgrade like 9 other things so I don't die.
HD shafts, HD suspension, HD brakes, D60s, maybe HD D44s would work, trans and transfer case, because stock would last about 1/8 of a mile, the next 1/8th would be you skidding down the road sparking while your wheels and axle shafts fly out of the jeep.

So yeah Basically an Ultra 4 Wrangler lol, with no stock factory parts

700 HP in a Wrangler will probably not end well, I would love to see it though

40k for the swap. Nah. Speed isn't my goal on the trail. And re-gearing for torque has worked for a thousand years.

Rather get a 5.7L. A solid 375 hp and 450 ft/lbs would be really nice. No forced induction or complexity required,

I would not want anything too crazy personally. But....a bump in HP from the factory would be nice, something in the mid 13's 1/4mile would be fun. Weight kills these things.

“ I just regeared to 5.13’s. Nice combo with my new Rockstone MT’s.”

The tranny and brakes would obviously need to be upgraded, but the rest of what you listed would be unnecessary for a mall crawler. Anyone who wants to do serious wheeling would already be pondering the other upgrades. Dana 44s are probably stronger than what gets put in most vehicles that get mated with the hellcat. For my purposes, a 5.7l would be ideal.
