What comes first: 0-60 or Full to Empty. Lol.

Answer. Neither. You’re wrapped around a tree.

I think they’re interesting conversions for a YouTube vid but the mass market will kill themselves. Wide body, wide tire, low center of gravity are already no joke to control. Throw a high center of gravity narrow body into that with the Jeep’s loosey goosey steering and that thing would kill people. Not sure that’s the PR FCA would want.
From someone who does not own one,or has driven one. This is so far from reality it funny.

You'd be traction limited without super wide racing slicks... on a wrangler. Lol.
The 5.7 will not spin a open rear diff ( 1 tire ) with a 33x12.50x15 4:10 gear . I own one. You have to power bake it to loose traction. Now my 5.7 350/375 is a lot less then the 700+ hp. Don't forget new Rubi's have traction control, my old TJ has no e-helpers.

Was wondering how many people would be interested in a hellcat engine for your Jeep. Is it something you would buy?
Only if it is available as a 2-door. This goes for the JL or JT.

That would be a bit squirrelly.

I still stand by my initial thought: 5.7L

Produces 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. MORE than enough, IMHO.

These things steer like a Radio Flyer with a loose wheel. Putting a V8 in them has got to be at the bottom of their list of things to do.

Sure, if it could economically be made CA-legal. I want many things, but can't necessarily get any of them thanks to this states' laws.

Big powerful engines have worked well for Mercedes (G class) and Land Rover (Defender).
Those two vehicles are much more road cars than off-road vehicle. Either one is at home on a winding mountain highway. I'd guess neither of these steer like the Jeeps reported on this site.

I've driven both and they're no better than a JK. Last models had solid axles front and rear as well.

Also speak to anyone who has driven a modified fast modern Wrangler and says they prefer stock. Why are people raving about the diesel?

Wranglers sometimes bring back the wrong kind of nostalgia in people. They handle almost like cars on paved roads.

If they put a powerful V8 in a Wrangler, it's not going to harm anyone who got a regular one. They'll still make the other models. I don't even expect the V6 to go away because it's competing with the brash 2L.

I have a 5.7 in a TJ I will take a V-8 in any wrangler. Wish I could have had one in the JL. After warranty time it will.
