Now that is a wonderful commute to and from work!! Reminds me of a residential area in Santa Fe, NM that I used to live in.

My Mello Yellow

Month 1 mods..

Kc cowl lights (thank jeep for the aux switches. Man they are nice!) Can't wait til fill them up.
It came with factory silver rims/michelins
Bought the blacked rubicon rims 17.5/7.5
And added the falken wild peaks 285s
Stubby antenna ..blacked jeep letters and badge.

This spring when it's nicer out.. I'll install front bumper/stinger/warn winch
And I think a 2 inch kit for raising up the front end.. I want the rear to sit a little lower..
After that possibly a rear bumper ..or the new kc jl lights (not squared) round top lights.. I just love the look of ol school.
Also install an air compressor under the hood (there's a good tutorial on yt)

I'm going to keep it close to stock looking for now. I did the lift/35s for 10 years ..I'm really enjoying the way she sits now.maybe...maybe when I pay it off and wear out factory stuff.. I might lift her and go mod crazy when it's not the daily driver

Hey Yella Nation! Many great pix in this thread, was a tough decision for me between Hella Yella and Punk'n for my new JL, and while I did go the other way, I still do have a great affection for your color. Maybe next Jeep!

Congrats on the new Jeep. It looks like Jeep is about to discontinue Hellayella, but a form of yellow will be reprised again in a few years, just in time for you to buy a new Jeep in the proper color

Haha well played, I think I'd have to follow your suit in the transmission area and go 6MT as well! (First automatic I've owned in 12 years, convenient but not the same experience)

The color-matched hard top has been unavailable to order for a couple of months now. The same thing happened to Mojito before it was completely discontinued.
