Yes that is the part. I ordered from the factory but didn't get them as an option. Bought and installed them myself. The basic production Rubicon rails don't have a platform to step on. The step assist, as the name implies, have a horizontal platform that sticks out enough to get a foot on IF you have small enough feet. I'm 6'1" and just step in but wifey (whose Rubi it is) is sub 5'5" welcomed the step rails. Keeps the Rubicon clearance also.

Thanks so much for clearing up the confusion. I wonder why they are so discombobulated about it?!?!

I was completely baffled myself, I ordered a Rubi for the wife with them. I 1/2 expected them to be the Rockslide Engineering automatic steps. But that's not the case, so here goes another $1800

They also came standard on the Recon.
Not so sure I’d pay the $930 they are listed for, but they are pretty nice.

BAM has them for $650 for the 2 door, not sure on the family version. But I'm glad I didn't order them from factory after finding out could save $300 for an hour install

WOW Nice price!

Well if I get stuck with a set of them I'll sell the take off's for $700 free Ground UPS to the continental US.

Is that with the
$878 net (FWP) from dealer
Yeah, for a slider that doesn’t even mount to the frame . . .

They show up in the forum from 500-750 I’ve seen

I swapped my Sahara steps for a set of Moab takeoffs (Mopar performance rock rails) thinking they’d be the best of both worlds. Well unfortunately they’re not... neither my wife or daughter like them and don’t use them, not quite enough of a step to actually be functional for them, and they stick out just far enough to make it even more difficult to step out. I’m fine with them but we’ve decided to swap for the Mopar tube steps this time around.

beware buying these from BAM. I and a couple others on the forum have had quality issues. See my linked thread below.

I contacted BAM and they were willing to make it right, but I was able to force them on instead of going through the hassle of a return.

It’s been a few months and all is well and I’m still happy with them, but just wanted to share my experience.

I will admit, these are not a great step, but I just didn’t want the plastic steps and I like the look of these.

I have the Mopar Performance Rock Rails and like them, they are quite a bit heavier than the OEM Rubi rock rails, fit and finish are excellent and the 'step assist' is just that...However, I would not include them as part of your factory order IF you are like many of us that do our own wrenching including upgrade and mod installs. Jeep gives you zero credit for the standard included OEM rock rails, I bought mine form Mopar Wholesale Parts and after selling the OEM Rubi rails, my net cost was about $475.

Now fast forward a year and I am thinking of these from JCR:
