Heated seats won’t stay on.

Anyone else have the issue of 2018 Sahara, the driver side heated seat will time off when started with auto start. It will time out and not be able to be started again until completely shut off. The passenger side is completely fine tho.

I had that happen and they had to replace the heating element. Possible short inside or something causing it to overheat.

I took it in and of course they “couldn’t get the issue to present itself”. I’ll have to tell them that next time I go in. Thank you!

Old thread, but had this happen on autostart on my 18 Sahara. Normal start next morning and it worked fine- so far 4 times in a row OK now. Any solutions if happens again or chalk up to a “glitch”?

Mine just did this for the first time, today… almost 4 years old and my DD.

Anyone have a part number for heating element?
