Hello, I have the same issue, but with my steering wheel. I have an appointment at the dealership on Friday. Will let you guys know what comes out of it. In the meantime, I have checked my fuses and nothing seemed to be popped out. From multiple posts here (two about steering wheels and one about seat heat), it seems like it may be wiring issue. I have to say though that my issue started when the temperature here in MN dropped down to -30 F last week. It was working great until then.

Hi B1g7hund3r,
We can imagine why this may be disappointing. Please send us a private message if you would like any assistance while your Jeep is at the dealer. We're happy to look into this for you.

Does anybody have a follow up as to what the solution was? My steering wheel has been doing the same thing the last few days. When it is cold enough for it to come on automatically with a remote start. It won't come on. Pushing the button manually, the light only stays on for a second or two. Later in the day with warmer temps it works fine manually.

My 2014 JKU did the same thing. I now have a JLU Rubicon and it just started doing the same thing. Last time my JKU did it, I brought it to my dealer and they replaced the heating unit I believe and that fixed the issue. My point being, this has been an ongoing issue with their heated seats and steering wheels.

Mine did that for a little while and then they seemed to fix themselves. I would check to make sure all your fuses are firmly set.

Just started to happen to me. Over last year or so it happened once or twice but now every 15 mins or so into the ride it turns off and unless I turn off the engine it doesnā€™t work.

After reading a few threads I tried lowering the heat setting from 3 to 1 and so far the seat doesnā€™t turn off. Of course the this isnā€™t a solution but until I get it in the shop my seats work.

things to be fixed - steering recall, heated seat and rear defroster. I guess I should add the stereo cuts out from time to time and needs a fuse to be pulled to reset. Seems long enough list now to go to the dealer. maybe I will have them rotate the tires while there.

Anyone have any updates on the heated wheel/seat issue? I'll be taking mine in next tues for heated seat shutting off, the steering recall, and any other needed updates.

Could you please contact me about this? The dealer ordered a replacement steering wheel several months ago, but they are telling me they are backordered still. What gives? Are Jeeps leaving the assembly line without steering wheels now due to this shortage?

Has anyone had this issue fixed? My passenger seat just started doing this today. Would love to be able to fix it myself, I don't have much faith in the dealership.
