Headlight dial moves from auto

Noticing lately that the headlight dial is moving just slightly from Auto to On by itself.

Or more accurately from auto to almost On.

I have had to move to Auto again.

Agreed. Accidentally bumping the switch upon exit/entry is by far the most likely cause here.

I noticed I knocked it whilst getting in or out a few times.

Its happened twice to me...I haven't noticed it happening until l get back in later, but I assume I just bumped something.

My wifr has a Mini Cooper and the switch is almost the same - and it gets bumped just the same.

Funny mine keeps moving to off! And I never touch it to turn it off.

I know it’s getting bumped but I have not caught myself doing it yet!

I'd have to be about 7'10" tall in order to bump that with my knee while getting in. And I know I am not hitting it with my left hand.

Yep my knee hits it all the time.

Initially I thought mine kept moving too, until one day I noticed I touched it with my knee!

I’m 6’1” and have bumped it getting in at least two times.

I must have gotten screwed.....no auto setting on mine. Dang it.....

It’s your knee. I’m 5’7 and I do it from time to time. It’s at the right angle to graze it if you aren’t paying attention.
