Hey everyone we have a 2019 sport and we just noticed that the headlight won't turn off. lights stay on when you put the switch into off mode and also after the jeep is off and sitting for over 5 minutes. tried the switch to see if putting it into auto put the dash light to indicate they are one and it seems to be working correctly. Also the switch still puts on the fog light indicator if pressed on the switch so im not sure if the switch is bad or a headlamp relay has gone bad. seems the lights are getting constant power no matter what. looking for some ideas as to what to check before buying parts like new switches. Also does anyone know where the headlamp relay is exactly?

I don’t believe the JL has a separate headlight relay. At least I don’t see anything listed in the owner’s manual.

This is probably what you want to check:

F26 40 Amp Green – Central Body Controller (CBC) 2-EXTERIOR LIGHTS #1

If you want to purchase a new headlight switch, it’s part number 68292842AC.

Thanks i will take a look. I also forgot to mention that during all this even when the headlights are on when the jeep is off the tail lights work just fine

Hey Matt
Just saw this post and I am having the same issues. My high beams and fog lights stay on, even after turning lights to off. I also disabled all the DRL light settings on the screen settings.

Was the issue what Dave suggested?

Appreciate any leads here.

Thanks!
