I ordered a Sport S 2-Door. I'd like to know the exact rotor size of the standard front and rear rotors as well as the HD brake rotors used on the Sahara and Rubicon. I'm pretty sure that the HD brakes use Dual Piston front calipers were as the standard use single. I'm going to upgrade the brakes almost right away.

I'm looking at the Kit by Mopar. They spec those rotor's at 330mm. Can't find the answer on the non HD size if there is any difference.

Thanks for any direction!

Knew I saw it somewhere, here it is, and if you want the whole spec page click on the link.
FWIW looks like both brake sets have dual front pistons, singles in the back. Also hope you ordered Anti-spin rear diff w/ your Sport S, that's the only regret I had w/ my ordered JL :(
I think I may try the new PowerStop Evolution Sport Pads pretty soon and see if that makes enough improvement on my base brakes. They stop real well w/ stock tires but my 295/70/17s I wouldn't mind a more aggressive pad.

So are the JL Sport brakes comparable to what was offered across all the JK models ?

I've been dealing with brake issues. I do know the Power Stop KOE7940 are for the Rubicon and Sahara models and the KOE7941 are for the Sport S and Sport models. I just found this out today, As I ordered the KOE 7040. Everything looks the same but the rotor is about a 1/8" thicker on the outside of the rotor. The Caliper bracket will fit over the rotor, but once tightened down it will hit the rotor. I thought about ordering the bracket for the Rubicon/Sahara but the above info shows the Caliper may not fit either. So back to Summit to return this set.

I'm sure it's all different. The big rotor is only about a 1/8th thicker. It seems to me Jeep could save money buy not having tooling for that little difference.
