Yea throttle is SUPER sensitive.. It might need to learn... only 300 but figured it would have done that by now.Strange, mine is super smooth even with the start/stop.

They are KMC XD229 MACHETE CRAWL Wheels beadlocks, I love them, they were on my 2017 Rubicon before this one.May I ask what rims you have? I think these would good on my Rubicon Sting-Gray!
It's NOT the "turbo" most are concerned about . . . it's the eTorque/48v System that has its "shortcomings" ! the potential for added problems should of been addressed BEFORE went on sale, not after as seems to be much of the time with FCA products of late ( this is a fact, not hyperbole). I'm a Lover, not a Fighter of Jeeps & Rams * most of my vehicle buying life ! Looking forward to owning a Wrangler-esque replacement for my 2016 WK2 - early 2019, if the stars all align !Yes the 2.0T has a few more things on it that can potentially go wrong. But, many new models are going turbo these days instead of v6. There are few problems out there with turbos... the designs are pretty much perfected. If you break a coolant line you are in need of repair either way. Id rather have the Jeep shut down then risk over heating. Time will tell how the hybrid system holds up.. but again there are 1000s of hybrid cars out there and I am not hearing any wide scale problems. Problems we have in the future will be because we purchased a Fiat not necessarily the 2.0
HiI love my 2018 2.0 JL. Ordered on 9/10, born on 10/2 and delivered on 11/1. So far, we are very impressed with the 2.0. Showed 13 mi on the odometer when I drove off the lot, now showing 1620 and breaking in nicely. On my daily 46 mile ride to work (23each way) I have been seeing 28 plus mpg avg, if I keep my foot out of the turbo
I think I read there will not be a 2.0 Turbo engine option for the pick up. Only the 3.6 and diesel engines will be available for the Gladiator. It has something to do with heat and tow capacity. It's NOT the "turbo" most are concerned about . . . it's the eTorque/48v System that has its "shortcomings" ! the potential for added problems should of been addressed BEFORE went on sale, not after as seems to be much of the time with FCA products of late ( this is a fact, not hyperbole). edit . . . by that I mean perhaps the gladiator ? Been 'edumacating' myself over at the truck site too !
Wondering when they may offer the (or a) turbo on the Gladiator ? Perhaps the "old" 2.4 turboized ? Where would they put the eTorque 48v-package in this ? The rear is already full with the spare !? Perhaps behind the rear bench seat, like the RAM ?
How on earth are you getting that kind of MPG? Using cruise at 70 mph, 250 mile trip, I averaged 18.3. Getting about 17 in the city. I'm going by the economy meter on the dash, not actually calculating the mph after a fill-up. Maybe that's the issue. My avg economy has never gone above 18.5 in the month I've owned the vehicle.I love my 2018 2.0 JL. Ordered on 9/10, born on 10/2 and delivered on 11/1. So far, we are very impressed with the 2.0. 70 is a gas hog. I get best MPG around 60.How on earth are you getting that kind of MPG? Using cruise at 70 mph, 250 mile trip, I averaged 18.3. Getting about 17 in the city. Put straight pipe on my 2.0T at first sounded like a rice burner, have since put Magnaflow muffler on and I'm very happy.Anyone here planning on exhaust mods? Just replacing the muffler with a straight-pipe should make it sound sporty without being too loud given that a turbo significantly quiets the exhaust noise.
