I just picked up my 2.0 Sahara last weekend and I simply love it. The 2.0 gives the Wrangler some personality and excitement other than it’s obvious virtues of top down off road driving. The usable power and torque on this motor makes everyday driving an absolute pleasure. I love turbo and supercharged motors as there is almost never a dead spot in power delivery. While I find the 6cyl very capable , I also found it to lack excitement or personality. Some people will look at that as a good thing , but I enjoy driving way too much. My only knock on the motor is how loud it is on cold start as it makes a lot of noise. Other than that I love my new Sahara, it’s new interior , soft top and the LEDs. This one had leather which I initially did not want, but now that I have it it provides a nice upscale feel to the interior that my wife loves. All in all this is a great Jeep.

I just picked up my 2.0 JLR last Tuesday and totally agree with you. It has lots of hustle for a heavy 4200 lb. vehicle. I'd never expect such kick in the pants acceleration from a Jeep. I don't find the cold start noise to be too bad though. Have you noticed how quickly the engine warms up? I'm in Canada where we still need heat in March and it produces great heat in less than 5 minutes. I must say, that's one proud co-driver you have there!

It’s funny you say that as I am amazed at how quickly it warms up. That combined with the remote start is a dream come true on those cold mornings. As far as the acceleration you are correct as it does have impressive pull across the power band. I have always owned high HP cars and this Wrangler with the turbo motor is downright fun to drive.
