Put straight pipe on my 2.0T at first sounded like a rice burner, have since put Magnaflow muffler on and I'm very happy.
Is there a drone with your Magnaflow? Catbacks bolted to Chargers with the 5.7 Hemi usually produced a drone in the cabin.

I have the Flowmaster Outlaw and the drone is bad enough I will be putting the stock one back on.

70 is a gas hog. I get best MPG around 60.
My gauge says 19.2 at the moment with a mix of city/highway. Also with letting it warm up before I drive it.
The speed limit around is here is 70 everywhere, I typically actually am closer to 75-80 to keep up with traffic so guess I'll have to live with the poor economy.

So I was dead set on the 3.6L until I drove the 2.0L Turbo and looked at the specs. I was pretty impressed with it, and with 295 lb-ft of torque and the turbo, the difference of 17hp under the 3.6L seemed irrelevant considering you gain 35 lb-ft of torque for off road and better gas mileage.

Now, what I'm not really excited about is using premium gas and the unknown problems or potential problems of a new engine and a turbo.
So we'll see what my real impression is a few years from now. lol... Other than that, winner, winner, chicken dinner.

If you look at a Dyno chart, the 2.0L makes more HP in the usable RPM range from 2,500 to 5,500.

87 is ok to use in the Turbo. 91 is recommended for performance.

I guess that means when I'm broke I can feed her the swill of the peasants and she won't die immediately. Kind of like wanting to eat better but slowly killing myself with saturated fats because its cheap. LMAO !!!

Going from regular to premium on both cars for me had me a tad sticker shocked (even though both have tunes with mapping that allow for regular albeit with decreased performance) but at least for the DMV and I think NC/SC and apparently parts of FL, I've been using the GetUpside app I've been hearing about on the radio here for forever. Downloaded it and I use it all the time now. Basically it's a rebate app, some gas stations will pay you back to pump there (claim the rebate, pump, upload receipt, 24hrs you get it and can cash out via Paypal, check, gift card, etc...). You get between 7-25 cents a gallon (sometimes up to 55 with promos and a really generous gas station) which isn't really much but it adds up. Best part for me was it maps out and gives you gas prices on all participating stations and my area has almost all of them. Didn't realize I could get premium for about 2.50 compared to the 3.30+ I've been seeing if I drove a mile down the road before the strip. Also it's hard to get 91 in the DMV as 93 or ultra is the dominating highest octane so that's what I've been using. I think the dealer put regular when I bought it and I've noticed a marked difference in MPG with premium for sure. I get shy of 400mi range on a full tank since I'll have spurts of 75-90+ driving and kill my MPG.

I'd look into it if anyone lives in the DMV or other participating states. AND shameless plug but my referral code is T5WK2 for an extra 15cents/gal on first use cause when used I get +15 on my next gas up and like a penny plus after that.

Just used Jeep Wave for my first oil change recently. No issues with my local dealer with regards to accepting it and doing a proper 5-tire rotation. Would have been ~$110 without it.

That actually seems very reasonable for a dealership oil change and 5 tire rotation. Even better that we get a few free!

2019 with the Dynatrac Enduro lift, Fox Shocks, 37x13.50 Cooper STTpro and 17" Fuel recoil wheels with 4.5" BS. I am happy with the 2.0 thus far and love the Jeep.

How would you say they compared with each other? The different transmission will account for some (good call on the 8 speed, manuals are fun, but get a sports car with one), but I'm curious on your thoughts about the motors. Great looking Jeep.

Thanks! Well, the 3.6l with a manual transmission to me was a slug with 35's. My 13' JK has the 3.6 with an auto and it's more responsive than the manual. The 3.6l is a good engine my 13' has 131,xxx miles and still going but it's a naturally aspirated engine which gives it a linear feel. That's fine for most people but I like the visceral feel the turbo engine gives. It just never feels like it's out of power or has any problems passing anything on the road. The engine just fits me and the way I like to drive better.

This my new 2.0, this is the dealer is filling it up on Friday during my taking delivery test drive. This will live mostly in stock form. I have 315/70r17 ko2’s in a C rating going on Wednesday. Synergy 3/4 front coil spacer to level the front. Thinking about running some teraflex stuff like shocks and steering stab. I have a JK for wheeling trips so I am ok with a light build.
