does anyone have familiarity with Hauk Off Road bumpers (Predator Series) for 2019 JL. I love the look however I am concerned about the rear tire carrier. Looking at the images from their web site it seems as if the triangular design sticks up very high and when I have the roof off I don’t want to look out the back window and see a majority of this large metal carrier. I plan to run 35 or 27 inch tires so I want a separate carrier or reinforced gate system. Looking at the Hauk rear bumper there is a large spindle that allows for the tier carrier to be attached. If I go with another brand of carrier/reinforcement system the rear bumper will have this spindle sticking up with I use. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have the front not the rear some others have the rear they look good to me and built well, but if it’s anything like my order don’t expect to get it no time soon if you order it. Maybe they are caught up by now but took several several months before I received mine. Before I purchased one I would realistically ask wait time.

I have the Hauk bumpers and I love them. I like the look of the V at the top. With tinting you really don't notice it very much anyway.
The reality of putting a 35 or 37 on the back is that your visibility is going to be super limited anyway. You have to rely on your back up cam and mirrors a lot no matter which carrier you have.
I did have to wait for about 3.5 months to get my Hauk bumpers but to me it was worth it. They will prolly say a month but that's bs haha.

Yeah...

Just picked up ours today at Hauk. Told us 3-4 weeks, that was on September 5, 2018. So it really took a couple days short of 6 months.

Wow, I ordered mine in August and got them in December. I ordered them bare though and had my own local guys powder coat them. Geez that's a ridiculous amount of time though. At least they look nice:)

Yeah, good quality no doubt but they take forever. Sounds like nothing has changed. Last time I ordered with them was like 2014-2015.... don't recall how long it took but it was FOREVER.

Well, I just ordered my front bumper yesterday. So this will be a time stamp of how long it takes. No special color just satin black on bull bar, bumper and skid. Was told 4-6 weeks.

They told me the same thing and it turned into half a damn year almost. That said, the quality was very good.

Yeah good luck with that. I think that I only waited 3.5 months was because my installer is friends with Kenny hauk. Don't get me wrong, its worth the wait, but its a long weight.

Don't have any fancy photos of it completely finished, but here are a couple while finishing up the install.

I noticed all of your front end suspension mods. Do you have any death wobble, shimmy, loose steering etc.? I would doubt it.

No I do not. I changed it out due to adding a lift and larger wider tires.
