Currently on AF revision. Historically, 2014 (especially) 3.6 oil filter housings in multiple applications have been known to crack requiring removal of the upper and lower manifolds and a lengthy repair procedure.

Whether this is a cumulative fatigue in the plastic, overtightening of the filter cap, shitty design, whatever - has this been fixed in recent models with the 3.6?

This engine is generally regarded as a very reliable engine with no major current issues (ignoring ESS / battery drama).

I havent had any come into the dealership for leaks like the. JK's. but it might just be a matter of time. . . either way. they are easy to do and don't take all that long. . upper and lower intake gaskets are reusable

My 2019 is now leaking and the dealer said it might be a bit before they can get one in. So it's just sitting in the garage waiting for it to show up.

Down at the base.
Oil is running down the back all over the tranny. I went to change the oil and noticed oil down below were you fill it. I normally am careful no to spill any. I just that I made a little spill and didn't think much off it. Then a few days latter I look under it why it's running and you can just see it dripping

I replaced mine a couple months ago, but it was leaking up top into the valley. I couldn't get my hands on a Dorman unit for at least a couple weeks, so I sucked it up and grabbed the latest OEM version from the dealership. Even with part shortages they had tons in stock because their failure rate is so high. Hopefully, it'll last longer than my original one.
