Seems like most loans from commercial banks and even some CU's are starting at 3% for anything over 48 months. Please share if you have had better luck. Thank you.

I was able to get 3.29% @ 60 with a 720 credit score.

I never inquired about anything less so possibly could have been under 3%

This was Orlando Federal Credit Union

Pretty frustrating considering I have 2% on my M3 and now the best I can do with a 790 score and double the income is 3.5%. It almost stopped me from making the transaction but I guess Iā€™ll make a few extra payments per year to hit more principal. Iā€™m using Suncoast CU

Fed rate has been going up .25% every quarter since 2017, that increases bank lending rates. It stayed almost the same from 2008-2015. It's stupid to compare rates for a previous auto loan

Best I was able to find is 3.59 up to 51 months at a credit union with a 865 score.

Rates here are starting at 3.49% and that's ONLY on short term loans with 800+ credit score.

Most people here are going to be in the 5% range realistically.

I was a bit frustrated when I got mine last year as with 800+ credit the best I could find was 3.24% but it seems that is even going up.

I miss the old 0% through Chrysler Financial I had years ago.

Wasnā€™t comparing but rather bitching, which I guess is useless. But no need to start saying Im stupid for bringing up my current loan in frustration to how itā€™s 1.5% more than my previous loan. Thatā€™s a rather large sum of money on a $50k loan. If thatā€™s stupid to be frustrated about then Iā€™ll gladly take the stupid title

Then don't take on a $50,000 vehicle loan

I looked and looked last year and the best I got preapproved for was 2.99% for 72 months. I took that to the dealer and told him that if he could find a better rate I would take it. He secured a loan for 2.89%. Not a huge difference, but itā€™ll save a little bit of money. Whatever you find on your own, I would suggest getting the dealer to try to beat it. They get a little kickback and you get a better rate.
