Has anyone here started painting parts underneath your vehicle?

Like dif covers, axles, stabilizer bar, lift kit, skid plates, etc? I want some colour underneath my vehicle rather than plain black. Ive always liked seeing those details. like on a jacked up sema truck where everything including the whole frame is repainted.

Yup. I’ve basically re-painted the entire gas tank skid and transfer case skid. They get pretty scratched up on the rocks, and I want to keep them from rusting as much as possible. LOL

No, because I think its dumb. But to each their own, paint away brother!

I read somewhere about a painted skid being easier for a spotter to differentiate between vehicles and rocks. Sounded reasonable plus I think it looks good. Aluminum belly pan so paint wasn’t necessary:

Thats one thing has always disappointed me about jeeps…. After two years the surface corrosion is an eyesore.
