Has anyone had luck changing an order in D1 status?

My dealership said they'd try to make a change for me but couldn't promise anything. They were successful in making a change in D status, but now that I'm in D1 I'm not very confident.

I've never heard of a change being permitted. Anyone that tried either ended up placing a new order or dealt with what they ordered in the first place.

I did it on my JL. Dealer told me it was unlikely they could do it since it’s in D1 status. If they catch it early enough your dealer has to call his factory rep and get them on the case.

It can and has been done by a bunch of people here.
