I've had my "new to me" 2118 JL 2dr since last day of last year. Did have a "hick up" about 300 miles in but local dealer fixed it in no time at all. The No. 3 coil was bad and the dealer didn't hesitate to fix it on his dime.
Other than above incident, the Jeep has been just fine. Definitely better than my first Jeep, a 1987 Suzuki Samauri. I drove it to death in CA, the Philippines, and AZ mountains not to discount a couple of CA to NC and return trips. Logged some like 130K miles and 3 sets of tires on it before selling it in 1991.
Regrets - only that I didn't buy the Jeep sooner. And, I still have my Goldwing 1800 trike.
