Our JKUR is arriving next week & just like my other Jeeps I'm keen to use this one as much as Possible 'naked' (Doors, Roof off).
Having struggled with heavy tops on TJ's & JK's over the years I'm keen to set up an electric hoist system in the Garage - seen it done online & seems strightforeward.
Screwfix selling Clarke Electric Hoists for £99 which I'd install up in the Garage Joists - Jeep can then be parked underneath quite safely.

Anyone else gone down this roue?

not the pretties, but totally functional.
1.5 ton electric winch, some straps and a piece of rope i will replace soon. the just keeps it from swinging in the wind.

under 100.00 total. I bought the battery (12v) winch.
Has both a wired and remote control. i have spare batteries so I just popped some post clamps on the end and clip to to a battery when i need it. The battery one was 1/2 the price and i can always put it on one of our jeeps in the future is i want to.

yes I already had that hoist for heavy wheel lift onto tire rack, I made a Bespoke frame;
