After finally getting my Lange Hoist-a-Cart assembled, used it to take off the top this week and I definitely recommend it. With my varied-height garage ceiling, it worked out great. The top arm folds down enough to easily roll under the garage door, too. Ended up moving the Jeep outside and taking the top off there (less constricting than my very narrow garage), then folded the top arm down once I put the top on the cart, and rolled it easily back into the garage.

Can confirm. If you've got a weird garage, this is a great option.

I just use anchors in the ceiling and 2 rachet straps between the anchors looped from the doors through the hatch on either side of the top. It's pretty simple and cost about $50. Works like a charm. If you get it in the right spot you can pull your naked jeep right under it over the hood. DId that for a couple of years. Don't have a picture. (as I post this, look above my post that is sorta what I did, his is a little better).
