On mine it did, on the other maybe.
He claimed it did but it was really quiet to begin with so I can't really say.

Note to self: search YouTube for this adjustment when I take delivery of my Jeep.

Or just ask the dealer to do and check before taking it home:)
The dealer is supposed to check before delivery, easier to do it yourself. Also less chance of collateral damage.

I drove 3 new JLU's at the dealer in Denver. One Sport, Sahara and Rubi. All three had excessive wind noise coming from the juncture of the top with the top of the windshield. The faster I drove, the louder it got. None were acceptably quiet, they all had varying degrees of wind noise. All were much louder than my 1998 hardtop.

I had wind noise on my ;08 JKUR untill I moved the UPPER BODY DOOR HINGES in 1/8"--then no noise-

JK/JL JKU same design--same troubles, although the increased angle of the new windshield could add to the "SEAL" problems-

Good luck

So I went to the dealer yesterday Ferman Jeep in New Port Richey and I could not believe how this appointment went.
The service manager came out and told me that they took it for a drive and that he had the air conditioning set on 7 and he could not hear it. I thought he was joking at first and then realized he was not. I then told him if he drove it with the fan off he would then realize that it would still sound like the fan was on and he said he thinks it’s acceptable.
I then showed him what was wrong. I told him, look at the gap on the sides of the windshield. See how it it tight on one end and wider on the other? You need to take out the 4 bolts across the top and lower the windshield so you can gain access to the hinge bolts. Then loosen the hinge bolts so you can move the hinge back a little so the gap evens up compressing the gasket seal evenly. He the said, oh that is how you lower it? Then he said that he did not want to touch it because there was no bulletin from Jeep and he might make it worse??
He then proceeded to tell me that he doesn’t doubt what I was telling him though because “They really slammed out these first JL’s”. Are you kidding me? Even if that was his true opinion should he really say this to a guy that just spent 53k on a new Jeep?
Looks like I will need to do this myself. Unbelievable!

When I get time to fold mine down i was planning to see if this is something I could 3D print a jig for. Although I’m assuming it has to be custom per vehicle or FCA would have already thought of that, right?

This is a 5 minute fix, dont waste time at the dealer.
Adjust it yourself and you will know it's done correctly without damage or frustration.
