Just wanted to share the results of the installation of the Harken Hoist system. $145 on Amazon (http://a.co/d/1DJosQM) and an additional $40 on lumber and lag bolts and you got yourself a hoist that is easy to use and allows you to be independent when removing your hardtop. Highly recommended.

The Moab package includes the wheels painted black. I like this look better than the stock Rubicon wheel that I have.

AWESOME! And nice looking rig, too. Hard to tell- did you lift your MOAB? Feel free to post pics with those half doors and top off!

Looks great. I am planning on doing the same thing in my garage. I also have a body colored top, and I'm wondering if you've had any issues with the hoist ruining the paint on the top?

None at all. I tied up the straps in a way that the buckles don't touch the hardtop. It will take a few times of adjustment until you get the straps dialed in just right.

Are you able to hoist the hardtop w/ the rear window closed/folded down? This is key to where in my garage I'll be able to install it (overhead storage in the way if the rear window must remain open).

I haven’t tried that but i don’t see why you can’t do that.
