I did the same thing except my DA bought 1.25 instead of 1.5. I’m not exactly happy about having my winch secured to the plate with the wrong hardware but I cranked it up in there real good. I’d hate to remove the bumper a third time for this (was even able to line up skid plate with no modifications this time - I guess this angered the Jeep gods and now I must pay)I had to extend my bolts and I used M10x1.50 and 35/40 mm long. I think I bought 35 and 40 to be safe.
HF was playing a cruel joke. They sent my shackles and snatch block, but no winch.Just got my shipping notice from FedEx saying my winch will arrive on Wednesday! Ordered 5/26, so about 3-3.5 weeks.
Now if I just had my new bumper to mount the winch on. . . .
So are you saying you have to use the relocation kit if you want to use the Mopar winch guard?I installed this winch in a steel rubi bumper with a jcr plate. I have the mopar light bar and had to relocate the control box. It includes the relocation kit. Also includes a flat link hook a power disconnect switch to mount under hood a nice fairland. With this winch plate the wire coming out of the back of the winch would of rubbed the grille if I didn’t use the relocation kit. I also got this with the 20% off coupon on Black Friday for $489 and $6 shipping because local store wouldn’t allow me to use coupon
I used 40 with both washers, worked great.do you remember the bolt spec?
i am thinking of redoing with a longer bolt for a bit more stability/leverage.
m10-1.25 x 35??

agree with the one set of spyder spacers allow the lever to turn with a bit of rubbing. No space for a grill guard to attach to that bolt.
I was also able to get all but 1 middle screw back in the factory skid plate without modifications.
biggest issue was getting my Factor steel bumper off and on.
still trying to determine the best route for cables to the battery. I did plug the back port hole and route the lines out the side of the control box.
Looks good. How did you plug the back hole? What did you use to drill the new hole, and seal(?) it?
