Half Doors - Who is gonna be 1st!?

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone said the dual door group comes with covers or bags to protect the half door uppers when they're off and thrown in the back. Can anyone confirm this?

No, it does not.

However, the Mopar Freedom Top Storage Bag (68297726AD) that comes with a hard top fits pretty well. It's a little too tall but otherwise acceptable. There is a nice felt divider to keep the windows separate. Both tops are in this bag...

I have no doubt you could fit all 4 in but it would take some creative packing to do so without damaging them. The bag has a plastic and hard foam bottom that fits the struts. This does a great job of supporting the uppers but there are only two sections. I think you would end up with the struts from the rear doors pointing up and then what would protect the top of the rear upper? Plus keeping the vinyl windows from denting would be tricky. I rate it doable but not easy.

I might not be the first one with a 2021 to get the half doors, but am I the first to get them for my 2020 Jeep JLU? Just got them and sitting at the paint shop now to get them color changed to match Sarge. So stoked, Sarge is going to be styling for the summer

They haven’t to my knowledge. I was able to purchase them off someone that didn’t want them. They are currently Sarge Green and I’m going to swap out my keyless entry handles and blind spot mirrors wiring harness since they have to come apart to be painted to match the Jeep. I’m so excited, can’t wait to scratch them up on the trails

So I'm a little curious, how did someone end up with half doors that didn't want them?

Did you get them at a discount or pay a premuim for them, aka more or less than factory option?

They bought a Jeep on the lot that was ordered bye the dealership with the half door option. Just waiting for the paint shop to get back to me and these suckers are getting dropped off today

I think the big question is how much did you pay and I’m assuming the seller had no clue about the rarity of them!

I know some people will call me crazy but I absolutely always thought of Jeep’s having half doors guess from me being a kid or Dukes of Hazard. I got the set with premium uppers for $3850 (which is a little less then the factory option price) shipped. I just dropped everything off at the body shop and my wheel rings off at the powder Coaters. I’ll start the other installs this weekend. I’m pretty excited
