Guys, are we sure that pic is not showing the plastic windows from the body camo? It apprears it is still in camo. However, I hope those are soft windows.

Poking around in 2019 Ram spy photos and saw this pic with a JL creeping in the backround. Looks like the top part of half doors and maybe some soft windows for the hard top?


Admin edit: Added closeup and additional photo from slightly different angle. Definitely a JL 2-door prototype.

Could we be looking at a hard top + removable soft windows + half door configuration like the Jeep Wrangler Flattop Concept?

Would you guys consider that color Sting Gray?

If you zoom in, you can see the mirrors are covered with the large camo boxes, and the hood has the full body camo. My guess is that this really is just the full body camo. As much as I’d like to believe otherwise, we probably would have seen a soft window/hard top spec in the manuals and more than likely would have heard about it 4-5 days before the official reveal.

I think you are looking beside the truck. Look behind. There is no camo on that one.

The JL color is called “Sting-Gray” though. Plus we’re talking household paint vs automotive paint. I do hope it turns out similar to that though.

How can you tell if that is even a JL?

It's not a JL. The doors handles are still the pushbutton. The JL has pull handles. Also, the grill is sloped (bent) at the bottom. The JL is sloped at the top.
