Jeep JL / JLU Half Doors Official Press Release and Photos

Had 7 Wranglers including a 2018 JLU Rubicon and a 2020 JT Rubicon and have never had any bubbling paint or corrosion on the door hinges....I know on JK or old I believe the doors are steel and the hinge are aluminum and now both door/hinges are both aluminum

I wish I had your luck. Mine is going in for its second repair and paint job this year.

I won’t be changing my entire Jeep over this but have to add them to the upgrade list..there’s not much left on that list but what’s there is expensive...lol.

Thanks. Yes. Garage kept and under 8k miles.
Thankfully, it's covered under warranty.

I just ordered one for stock. Loaded Rubicon in Chief with half door w/ premium uppers. $65 and change MSRP.

I know that people love half doors. Having never had them, I guess that I just don’t get it:

what is the difference between a “half door” and a “regular door with the window rolled down“???

I’m serious. I’m a newbie and I don’t “get it”.....

When the top is down, the window frame of the full door looks fugly. Plus the beltline is lower with half doors which makes the lines of the Jeep flow better. See this JK comparison.

Maaan. Ordered mine about 3 weeks ago. Going to contact the dealer to see if this can be added, but don’t have much hope they can do it. It’s still in D1.
