Had Off Road Pages, Now Its Gone. Anyone else experience this?

I’m having this issue as well. Had the off-road pages, now it’s just missing entirely for the past few days. How it shows up on my instrument cluster page just fine

Just had some warranty work completed by my local dealer and asked for them to look into installing Off-Road Pages on my 2018 JLUR. Service Manager said "it just ain't gonna happen for an '18. Want me to get you a sales guy over here to get you into a Gladiator or a '19 JL so you can get the feature?"

Would have preferred a standard generic response.

For those that have reached out to JeepCares with your VIN, have they helped you enable this feature? Or, is it a run-around?

I had the dealer do the TSB update in January to add the ORP to my 18 JLUR. Then in February the day after my Guardian subscription expired they disappeared. I worked with JeepCares and they were able to get the ORP put back on with an over the air update. So they were able to resolve the issue for me.

@JeepCares How about pushing the update out to EVERYONE with a jeep so we can get ORPs back without having to jump through hoops... Also, please explain to us why it disappears? esp when our subscription disappears?

This is crazy that we all have to go through you on the web page to get this back?

I’m having the same issue, I received my JLUR in February, had it for maybe a week, then it was gone. I had my Jeep at the dealer today and they said they are waiting for an update, and it was a Uconnect issue, through guardian. @JeepCares is this correct?

I was offroading today and i went to my offroad pages, it said there was an error loading, then my satellite radio, navigation, and all additional APPs either quit working or disappeared completely. i also lost all volume control and phone abilities.

Well my dealer had my jeep a whole day and when I went to pick it up they told me it wasn't going to happen. I would have to take it elsewhere. Elsewhere? they are 3 miles down the road the next closest is 45 minutes away and I would either have to leave it (get a ride) or take a day off and wait!

Mine comes and goes. Went out on the trail and it worked fine. Turned the jeep off and had lunch. Turned it back on and the button was gone. Went a few miles turned it off and then back on and it came back. Also having an issue with the 8.4 screen will completely shut off and restart while driving.... 2019 JLUR any help would be appreciated

Bumping this just for the helluvit. Finally got my off-road pates, a 2 hr download according to the dealer that fixed off road pages and some other radio issues. It was kind of interesting, when I start the jeep up, all the apps would show up except for a few. And then after a minute or two, they’d appear. This included the Off Road Pages. Anyway, I had this done maybe a week ago, then yesterday, Poof!, no more ORP.

You know I don’t really care. I love my Jeep and with over 18K miles on it and virtually no problems I’m not going to let this ruin my experience. But what an embarrassment for FCA this is. Maybe the 2019-2020 models have licked this problem, but its still a mess on the 2018s.

@JeepCares - Any comments on what the deal is?

Purchased a 2018 Rubicon with the 8.4 Uconnect last week. Did the 2 hour download for the ORP update. Everything worked fine for about 5 days. Started the Jeep up today and poof the ORP pages have disappeared. This seems to be a very common problem based on this thread. Has anyone actually found a cause or a fix?

Having the same problem with ORP disappearing. Just now got this procedure from dealer to reinstall ORP. Not a permanent fix, but will get it back.

Dealer has escalated a Star Case on this issue. As I understand it, He has send a copy of the code as flashed to my JLR and a copy, pulled from my radio, after ORP disappeared to FCA to be analyzed.

Dealer was kind enough to give me the attached procedure to use until a permanent solution can be found.

Also it didn't take nearly 2 hours of wait time mentioned in step 5 of the procedure on my JLR.
